AI-Driven Materials Design Research Received Funding from NSF

Our project “DMREF: Collaborative Research: AI-Driven Design of Tough 2D Metal Halide Perovskites for Next-Generation Semiconductor Applications,” led by Qing Tu (TAMU) and in collaboration with Wei Gao (TMAU) and Xiaotong Li (NC State), has been awarded funding by NSF. This project aims to develop and experimentally validate an AI-driven materials design framework to discover mechanically robust 2D metal halide perovskites with high fracture energy for reliable energy and electronic applications.
